Puro: Microalgae Carbon Fixation and Sinking Methodology

Puro.earth has announced the release of a new mCDR methodology for public consultation. The Microalgae Carbon Fixation and Sinking Methodology (MCFS) pertains to delivering nutrients to stimulate microalgae growth along with methods to enhance the sinking of carbon to ocean depths.

The Oceanid team is proud to participate in the development of this vital, groundbreaking standard for a biological mCDR pathway.

This public consultation phase will run from June 11 to July 2, 2025.
